New Prescription Warning in Dispensing screen

Setup Requirements

Need to enable a new option called New Prescription Warning in VE-Admin. Location in admin is Main > Rx/CL > Rx Setup > Under the Dispensing Error or Warnings section

Purpose

To allow clinics to show a warning message if the prescription on the Rx order is out of date if a newer prescription is in the Exam module that can be exported. The feature already in the CL dispensing screen.

Steps

  1. Log into VE-Admin and goto Main > Rx/CL > Rx Setup to enable the "New Prescription Warning" option. Then exit and save VE-Admin 
  2. When you are in Visual-eyes and working in the dispensing screen if you copy an order or are using an older prescription on creation it will warn the user that a new prescription is available and if they want to update to the latest prescription. They can then either hit "Yes" or "Cancel" if they want to keep the old prescription.
