how to recover an exam

On the computer that the exam was created or edited on:

1. Go to patient with missing exam
2. go to Exam
3. Click recover exam at the top -> then select regular
4. In browser window that comes up go to C:\VE7\ExamBackup and then select the folder for the month the exam was created/edited
5. Select the folder for the user who was logged into VE at the time of exam creation/edit
6. Select the folder for the day
7. Find the exam based on patient name and time from the list of exam
8. double click the exam or select and then click open
9. Set the exam's date, type, and OD, then save
