Area

Purpose

This feature was added to implement a way to notify different clinic workstations when there is a patient waiting in their location as well as the task that they are waiting for.

Setup Requirements

  • In order to access this feature you need to make sure that the clinic’s workstations have notification settings enabled. For Windows computers this is done in Windows Settings > System -> Notifications and Actions.

Steps To Use

  • 1. Log on to VE
  • 2. Go to the Routing module
  • 3. Click the ‘Notification’ checkbox in VE > Routing. This will allow you to receive notifications from VE as long as windows notifications are enabled.
  • 4. Create a routing for a patient in a location that aligns with the office location(s) and practitioner(s) selected in the routing screen
  • 5. Notification appears showing the patient’s name, location, and task.
